Behind the scenes there are many amazing people who make the dream of Rise Church a reality. Most churches call them volunteers, but we call them our Dream Team. We know our church would still only be a dream were it not for this amazing team of people. From creating a comfortable environment by serving on our Guest Services Team to leading the kids to Jesus by serving in Rise Kids to crafting a dynamic experience with the Worship Arts Team, we are a group who are “all–in” at Rise Church.
Volunteer FAQ
How do I volunteer?
We can help you discover where might be the best place to serve. We will point you to a team leader who will meet with you. He or she will answer whatever questions you have and schedule some time for training as well.
How do I volunteer with kids?
All of our Dream Team members who work with kids must complete a background check. Once that has been successfully completed, our kids volunteer coordinator, Joan Buss, will meet with you to explain the various roles we have in Rise Kids and help you determine where you would serve best. She would then begin training and integrating you into the team.
How do I volunteer with music?
Creating an impactful worship experience requires a dedicated team. No matter your skill level, there is a path for you. Several areas within our team require no experience (audio, video, cameras), and we can train you. For instrumentalists and vocalists, there is an interview with Ben Carlson, our Pastor of Worship Arts.
