We're Hiring a Senior Pastor!
Rise Church is prayerfully seeking a Senior Pastor to lead our Bible-believing, Bible-teaching, and independently governed non-denominational congregation in Dyer, Indiana (just outside Chicago). Our mission is simple: to live and love like Jesus.
The Lead Pastor of Rise Church will partner with the current eldership in providing spiritual guidance, general oversight, and leadership to the congregation, fostering spiritual growth, community engagement, and the fulfillment of the church’s mission and vision. This role requires a dedicated servant-leader committed to biblical teaching and compassionate care for our ministries.
Founded in 2018, Rise Church has weathered challenges but remains a passionate and committed body of believers. We are a small, multi-generational, dedicated body of believers who believe God has big things in store for us and our northwest Indiana community.
Responsibilities of the senior pastor:
> Preach and help plan and cordinate the Sunday morning services.
> Collaborate with Worship Leader, Children’s ministry leaders, and other church programs
>Alongside the elders, implement the vision of Rise Church.
>Oversee church staff and facilitate regular meetings for church staff.
>Conduct baptisms, weddings, and other ceremonies at the church.
>Visit shut-ins and those in the hospital in conjunction with the elders.
>Help the elders build and execute the strategic vision for the church.
